By creating an Acren account or using the Acren platform (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Acren, Inc. is a Delaware C-Corporation operating the Service from the United States.
Acren provides software that ingests and joins public-record signals (county assessor data, probate filings, divorce records, and CRE debt-maturity schedules), assigns motivation scores to commercial real-estate assets, generates outreach drafts, and (in subsequent product phases) provides fund administration, capital marketplace, and debt origination tooling. Acren is software with a small operations layer; we do not act as a broker, lender, or agent of any party except where explicitly disclosed in writing on a transaction.
When Acren introduces a GP to a credit provider, the relationship between them is direct after introduction. Acren does not act as an intermediary in subsequent communications, negotiations, or closings unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
Where Acren receives a referral fee from a credit provider on a closed loan, the fee is disclosed in writing on every closed transaction. GPs and borrowers do not pay Acren a referral fee.
See our Privacy Policy and Data Handling for full detail. In short: source documents, deal data, and LP information are encrypted at rest, tenant-isolated, and never aggregated or sold outside the explicit cross-syndication marketplace flow you opt into.
Acren is a tool, not financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. Acren's motivation scores, extracted figures, drafted outreach, and risk flags are informational. GPs and LPs are responsible for their own underwriting, diligence, compliance, and investment decisions. Credit providers are responsible for their own credit decisions.
The platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Acren's aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Acren in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) one thousand United States dollars.
You may close your account at any time from settings. Acren may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Closed accounts trigger a thirty-day soft-delete window before permanent purge of source documents and deal data. See Data Handling for full detail.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated to active users by email at least fourteen days before taking effect. The current and prior versions are listed at the top of this page; superseded versions are archived and linked from the version history.
